Semi-Dice UK arose from Semi-Dice Power, a provider of products and services to British companies and the recently formed Micro-Design Consultants, a provider of packaging engineering and consultancy. As a privately owned company Semi-Dice UK has been set-up to deliver packaging services to fabless IC companies.

Jim Palmer, Chief Executive Officer

Jim has over 50 years of sales experience in the semiconductor area including distribution and direct representation.

For the past 20 years he has run Semi–Dice Power supplying UK companies with hard to find electronic components and manufacturing services. He has strong links with companies in North America and South East Asia.

Elwyn Wakefield, Chief Technical Officer

Elwyn has around 40 years experience in IC Packaging including hands on experience of all of the main assembly processes, used in both commercial and high reliability products.

He is a named inventor on several patents relating to BGA, System-in-Package and Flip-Chip assembly.

He has designed and sourced IC Packages for several highly innovative package products and in doing so has worked with a number of the world’s major assembly sub-contractors.

He is also the founder and CEO of Micro Design Consultants, a specialist consultancy in microelectronics assembly and IC package design.

Dave Everitt, Chief Marketing Officer

With a degree in electronic engineering Dave spent a few years in hardware and software design before joining Advanced Micro Devices, AMD. Over two decades later and after holding many roles, including customer facing engineering, product marketing, partner relations, commercial and consumer marketing he rose to be one of the key senior executives at AMD Europe.

Responsible for major design activity, high profile product launches and many product initiatives he has the unique strength to understand the technology and the market but also a natural talent to engage all interested parties in creating a business.
